Sleepovers are fun, right? Especially when they're with your favorite cousin.
Eva and I hang out a lot, and so when she invited me over for a sleepover, I said yes.
We went to the pool that day, and swam some. The pool was having a pool party, and were serving food, so Eva and I had some of that. We each had two hot dogs, two ice creams, two bags of chips, and a root beer. My excuse for eating so much? I'm a growing girl.
Eva and I like to make movies, and we still remember our best one. It was about a giant cotton candy, ( don't ask.) and we loved it so much. We even made Cotton Candy 2.
One day, Eva had a thought, maybe we should make Cotton Candy: The Musical. So I was like,
"UM...YEAH!"
I played the therapist and the cotton candy (again, don't ask). She played the patient, and another therapist. It was pure genius. #COTTONCANDY!
For dinner, we had Chinese, and that was heavenly. I think I ate pretty good that day. (:
Eva and I like to play video games, so we played a lot of Minecraft.
It was survival, and we played on hard. I had a cute little campsite near the water, so I grew kelp, crops, and had pet turtles. My house was a cute tree house, and I was safe and sound.
Eva, on the other hand, built her house in a really dark forest, where monsters spawned at every corner. She liked to sleep at my house, because apparently it was I quote, ''safer''
I had a pet wolf named Amy, who just hung around my house, and a zombie who hid under a tree named Farley. He was clad in golden armor, so I steered clear of him.
Anyways, it was really fun, we play together a lot.
All in all, we had a great time!

My Mother's Day Conundrum
So, are you ready for a story? A really sad-turned-funny one? You sure?
The one good thing about being sick, is that you get to watch a lot of TV.
The bad things? There is a whole list of them. So you see, I had a fever, it broke, but I'm still feeling the symptoms. It all started on sunday, when I was watching children at my church.
I started to feel cold, and then got a headache, then I became light headed. At first, I thought it was because of the heat, so I didn't take care of it. Then, it turned into a stomach ache, and I knew I had to sit down. but I couldn't because I was in the middle of a lot of kids screaming. I pushed back the horrible feelings.
As my class ended, I helped clean up, and then went to get some water. My friend came up to me, and was all like, " Aliyah? Are you ok?"
I answered, " yeah, I'm just a little lightheaded."
" Oh..well that's not good."
I had just smiled at her, "It's fine. I'll live."
Afterward, I went to Eva's and we ate. Then we went up to her room and began to chat, I started to feel cold and tired. I pushed it back though, not wanting to ruin our time. But, as my teeth started chattering, I realized that I wasn't ok. I told her, and she understood. So, we just took it easy the rest of the time.
When it was time for me to go to bed, I was up until 7:00 am, hallucinating.
Do you know what I was hallucinating about?
A jungle. My main characters were traveling through the jungle, trying to stop the villain, Petunia Dreamer, and save the world. I was their helper/hacker, who stayed at their base and told them what to do, and how to do them. Sounds like an average dream, right? WRONG!(:
Some part of me was really into the hallucination, because it was 5:00 am, and I wouldn't let myself get water, because I had a job to do. Then I found that my feet wouldn't work, so I gave myself a made-up disease called No-Move (Original, am I right?) Of course, I was just hallucinating that my feet wouldn't work, in reality, they worked fine. I was just delusional.
I was finally able to go to sleep. at 7:00 am, and sleep until eleven.(: Go me!
I knew I was finally getting better when I chased my family around the house, holding a plate of eggos, and shouting " WHO WANT'S FREEZER-BURNED EGGOS!"
Is it bad that they smelled like chocolate?
Ew...Just grossed myself out.
Anyways, that was my fever, sound like fun? I mean sure, the hallucinations are kind of funny when you think of them, but I was really tired. Do you want to know something weird?
Eva had a fever last week, and wanted green grapes, and I had a fever, and wanted them to.
Do fevers make you want green grapes. Weird...
Hope you guys like this blog, I'll be back with more soon.

Jeweler for a Day
Ok, so I did this thing with my mom where I helped her sell some of her friend's jewelry at a show.
All day. Just let that sink in...
My job was writing down the prices of the things that sold, cutting off the price tags, and putting them in cute little bags. It was actually kind of confusing, but I think I did pretty well. I'm getting paid too, so that's pretty sweet. And I got some quality time with my mom. (;
Now, on a different topic, are you ready for a story? One so suspenseful that you should consider not reading the rest of this blog?
Are you sure you want to keep going?
Wow, goodness gracious you're brave.
Ok, so get this, mom said I could go look around at the booths for a little break while she did the jewelry, and because I had been working for hours, I said yes.
Not knowing the great dangers that would behold me......... ( Ok, so that ellipsis was monumentally long, let's just say I did it for more suspense........................)
The booths were neat, but I went straight to the jewelry ones. I LOVE SHINY THINGS!
I took their cards, just to be nice...though I wasn't actually going to buy anything.
( You in suspense yet? Don't worry, you will be.)
So, because of my love of shiny objects, I asked a lot of questions about the jewels.
Not knowing that I was leading them on. I even asked the price like I really wanted to know!
I bet when I walked away they were like, "Ugh...little girls and their glittery thingies these days."
It would be a lie to say that I didn't try on a few pieces...
After my mom and I were finished, we packed up our things and made our way to the car.
We were dead, not actually graveyard dead, but dead as in tired. Usually I'm this cheery person who loves shiny things, but then I was like, "get that glitter out of my face!"
We went out to eat, and got some Chinese, and that was pretty good. My only question is, does anyone know the difference between Lo-mein and Chow-mein?
Tell me the answer in comments if you do.
Well, that was my day. Hope you enjoyed this blog!
