Creative Cool Camp ( Triple C's!)

Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I blogged for you! Just telling you that I'm going to come back strong with this blog. You ready? Okay, so I went to this camp where I learned all kinds of stuff. Including makeup artistry, and film!
Let's start with film, shall we?

In film class, we made this short film. It was about three agents who were about to storm a building, but kept getting caught up in other stuff. I played one of the agents. Her name was agent 29. There was also Agent 37, and agent 13. There was a reason he was called 13, and that  reason is that he basically had bad luck the entire way through. It was really fun.
Agent 29 was the one who shouted at everybody to do things right, and agent 37 was sarcastic and just funny all together. We made a perfect team.   I learned how to make movies, and that was super cool. Also, I got to wear a leather jacket, black jeans, and combat boots, along with sunglasses. And I got to hold a really realistic looking BB gun. So, I just felt really awesome.
We made the short film in two days, and when I watched it, I was in awe.(:

Now, onto makeup artistry.  Basically I learned how to apply makeup, so that was fun.
We started on foundation, and then moved onto harder stuff like eye makeup!!
I love eye makeup. It just makes me happy, and I don't know why. #eyeliner!

We did this thing called Creative Collaborative, where we got into our tribes and did challenges.
My tribe was called the " Yellow Lightning" ( I didn't pick the name) because we were the yellow tribe.  LOL. So, yeah.  That was fun.

All in all, I think the camp was great! I had so much, fun, and bonded with lots of people who I didn't know before! So let me just say, this camp deserves two hashtags

There Is A Reason It's Called " Dodge" Ball

As the title said, there is a reason it's called dodge ball.  The name is basically daring you to get hit in the face. I'm like a hundred percent sure it's forcing us all to get ourselves knocked out.
Anyone with me?

I guess you're confused about this whole thing, am I right? Because basically all I'm talking about is dodge balls knocking us out.  Okay, so get this. I did a dodge ball tournament with my youth group against other youth groups. It was like, EPIC! Until I got hit in the face that is.
So you see, I was minding my business, being brave, hiding behind all the tall people, when I was suddenly on the ground. Yeah, my eye is still red. That was less EPIC. LOL.
Do you have any horrible dodge ball stories?  Have you ever gotten hit in the face?  Leave an answer in the comments down below. (:

Did you read that I was hiding behind all the tall people? It was so not fair! Those youth group kids were like giants! And here I am, a little person, hiding among them. I literally got lost in the crowd of tall people. Is that embarrassing? I feel like that's embarrassing. My youth group lost very badly.  It  didn't help that these tall people had been training in advance for three months. They were REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY good, and I'm not being dramatic. I'm being literal for once in my life. (:

After the tournament we had pancakes. I love pancakes, do you? There was whipped cream and chocolate chips, and it was like heaven.
I just wish there was ICE CREAM!

So yeah, that was my day. It was intense and epic...and painful.  LOL.

Day at the Lake

Have you ever had one of those moments where you're pretty sure you're about to die and you start writing out your will? Has that ever happened to you?
Because it has happened to me...on multiple occasions.  Although, we're only talking about one in particular. My day at the lake.

Okay, so probably you're thinking, " Oh my gosh! Did she almost drown?" But don't worry.  Nothing that drastic.  Have you ever tried tubing? You connect a big float to a jet ski, and fly across the water.
Trust me. IT'S REALLY FUN. But some parts, you fly off of it, and that's what I'm talking about.

My sister and cousin and I all yelled a good bit.
The things we screamed were funny, though. I screamed my will, and stuff like,  "AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO SEE AVENGERS ENDGAME NOW!" Or, " EVA! MOVE YOUR HAND! I NEED TO HOLD ON!"
Of course, we were sharing a handle, so if she let go then she would fall. Heh...oops.

Later, we went on a float together, and sang songs from musicals. Then they went again, and sang 80's songs. Which I thought was really funny.
Afterwards we got pizza, and that was really good. I think it was a pretty fun.

So, I guess I didn't really almost die, but it sure felt like it when I was on the tube.
I think I might be a little dramatic, anyone else think so?

A Play About SUPERHEROS

Okay, so get this, my sister and Eva were in a play together about superheros.
It was a funny play, because it was about superheros going to a therapist because of identity crisis.
A musical you ask? Yes, it was. The class wrote the script, and then borrowed songs from other musicals that fit their characters. It was super cool.

That day started me with me almost falling out of bed! Random, I know. But that doesn't mean it didn't happen. I didn't, thankfully, but it did remind me to always live life to the fullest.
When I got up, I ate a hearty breakfast ( because I was living life)! Okay, it was actually just a bowl of cereal, but...same difference.

And when Sage left early for the play, I was able to stay home and be on my computer all day.
A couple of hours later, I realized the the time.
We had to leave very soon.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Luckily, I can get ready in seven minutes if I want too, so it was pretty easy. I couldn't find anything to eat but some mashed potatoes, but my family had already attacked them, so they were pretty much gone. Dad decided to get me a hamburger, and I was all like, yes.

Eva slept over with us for two nights after the play. On the first day, we went to see Aladdin, and that was pretty good. Then we went to my grandparents and played Apples to Apples. Fun, am I right?
I am right!  We also had strawberry short cake...
Oh boy...dang it! Now I want cake! LOL.

So, yeah, I think that was worth telling you! All in all, I think it was a pretty great time!

Supercallifragilisticsleepover

Sleepovers are fun, right? Especially when they're with your favorite cousin.
Eva and I hang out a lot, and so when she invited me over for a sleepover, I said yes.
We went to the pool that day, and swam some. The pool was having a pool party, and were serving food, so Eva and I had some of that. We each had two  hot dogs, two ice creams, two bags of chips, and a root beer. My excuse for eating so much? I'm a growing girl.

Eva and I like to make movies, and we still remember our best one. It was about a giant cotton candy, ( don't ask.) and we loved it so much. We even made Cotton Candy 2.
One day, Eva had a thought, maybe we should make Cotton Candy: The Musical. So I was like,
 "UM...YEAH!"
I played the therapist and the cotton candy (again, don't ask). She played the patient, and another therapist. It was pure genius. #COTTONCANDY!

For dinner, we had Chinese, and that was heavenly. I think I ate pretty good that day. (:
Eva and I like to play video games, so we played a lot of Minecraft.
It was survival, and we played on hard. I had a cute little campsite near the water, so I grew kelp, crops, and had pet turtles. My house was a cute tree house, and I was safe and sound.
Eva, on the other hand, built her house in a really dark forest, where monsters spawned at every corner. She liked to sleep at my house, because apparently it was I quote, ''safer''
I had a pet wolf named Amy, who just hung around my house, and a zombie who hid under a tree named Farley. He was clad in golden armor, so I steered clear of him.
Anyways, it was really fun, we play together a lot.

All in all, we had a great time!

My Mother's Day Conundrum

So, are you ready for a story? A really sad-turned-funny one? You sure?

The one good thing about being sick, is that you get to watch a lot of TV.
The bad things? There is a whole list of them. So you see, I had a fever, it broke, but I'm still feeling the symptoms. It all started on sunday, when I was watching children at my church.
I started to feel cold, and then got a headache, then I became light headed. At first, I thought it was because of the heat, so I didn't take care of it. Then, it turned into a stomach ache, and I knew I had to sit down. but I couldn't because I was in the middle of a lot of kids screaming. I pushed back the horrible feelings.

As my class ended, I helped clean up, and then went to get some water. My friend came up to me, and was all like, " Aliyah? Are you ok?"
I answered, " yeah, I'm just a little lightheaded."
" Oh..well that's not good."
I had just smiled at her, "It's fine. I'll live."
Afterward, I went to Eva's and we ate. Then we went up to her room and began to chat, I started to feel cold and tired. I pushed it back though, not wanting to ruin our time. But, as my teeth started chattering, I realized that I wasn't ok. I told her, and she understood. So, we just took it easy the rest of the time.

When it was time for me to go to bed, I was up until 7:00 am, hallucinating.
Do you know what I was hallucinating about?
A jungle. My main characters were traveling through the jungle, trying to stop the villain, Petunia Dreamer, and save the world. I was their helper/hacker, who stayed at their base and told them what to do, and how to do them. Sounds like an average dream, right? WRONG!(:
Some part of me was really into the hallucination, because it was 5:00 am, and I wouldn't let myself get water, because I had a job to do. Then I found that my feet wouldn't work, so I gave myself a made-up disease called No-Move (Original, am I right?) Of course, I was just hallucinating that my feet wouldn't work, in reality, they worked fine. I was just delusional.
I was finally able to go to sleep. at 7:00 am, and sleep until eleven.(: Go me!

I knew I was finally getting better when I chased my family around the house, holding a plate of eggos, and shouting " WHO WANT'S FREEZER-BURNED EGGOS!"
Is it bad that they smelled like chocolate?
Ew...Just grossed myself out.

Anyways, that was my fever, sound like fun? I mean sure, the hallucinations are kind of funny when you think of them, but I was really tired. Do you want to know something weird?
Eva had a fever last week, and wanted green grapes, and I had a fever, and wanted them to.
Do fevers make you want green grapes. Weird...

Hope you guys like this blog, I'll be back with more soon.
